Date: 2008-05-15 12:52 am (UTC)He wasn't the nicest teacher, by any means. He was positively mean in a lot of ways. He was a pompous ass. But he knew Shakespeare like the back of his hand, and taught the senior class how to use more than one fork during the senior dinner.
He's one of the few teachers I can recall from high school. He stood out. He annoyed you and made you think. And that's what a teacher is supposed to do.

Date: 2008-05-15 04:11 am (UTC)Oh gods. I though he had probably died years ago.
Now I get to mourn him a bit again. He made a major mark on me and the way I relate to the world, mostly Shakespeare.
Thank you for letting me know. :(
