It's a neverending battle between here and now and that inner 3 year old who demands to be heard, and demands something be done about those thoughts and feelings NOW or there will be a tantrum.
Good for you. Just be sure that inner 3 year old understands that you hear her loud and clear and you respect her opinions, as bratty as they may be, and you're going to take care of her, or she'll sneak out somewhere and make a mess. :)
