I like people who have new takes on older music. This can include remixes and mashups.

This is the first mashup of a song with it's own original version. Kind of cool.

Here is "Jedward", a group consisting of twin boys, doing a mashup of "Under Pressure" with "Ice, Ice, Baby". Featuring Vanilla Ice.

Comments about my twisted musical taste welcomed.

I love mashups!!!! The show "Glee Club" got me so hooked on 'em. This was one of the best mashups I've seen. More please??

Come see Nouvelle Vague at The Mohawk on Saturday night. They are a French band doing loungey versions of New Wave classics. All the cool kids are going! :-)

I'm not so much surprised about this as I am surprised that it hasn't been done before this.

Oscar Wilde is shitting himself RIGHT NOW at your razor sharp wit and insight. LETS GET LIONS.

For some reason, that makes me *snerk*.

I love good mashups. My very very favorite 2 are both Gwen Stefani ones.

Google "bigbuttroll" and see why I'm in no position to pass judgment on your tastes. :)

You know, that's not as bad as it sounded like it would be. Good to see Mr. van Winkle has a sense of humor.

Still, I kind of wish that the two songs interacted with each other more. It would have been nice to hear the rap parts over those "ooh" harmonies from the last verse of "Under Pressure." Or just some random outbursts of "Pressure!" between lines of the rap, as a call-and-response. As it is, the two songs basically take turns, which isn't really what a good mashup is about, in my opinion.

Alternatively, they could have removed the Vanilla Ice bits altogether and this would have been a pretty good cover of a very difficult-to-cover song.
